    New Jewel for My Wife

I've had a Kimber Sapphire Ultra II on order for months at my LGS and it finally came in yesterday. I gave it to my wife last night and she is one happy camper!

Nice looking gun. I have enjoyed my Kimbers so far. Hope she enjoys hers. They can be a bit picky on ammo (family member's Ultra CDP in 9mm didn't cycle WWB very well or 124 grain stuff)
I think guns are like insurance. I would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

That is a Beauty!! I've had Kimbers and they seem picky about ammo. I only used Hornady +P XTPs in mine.... bought it by the case so I could afford it, though.

    Big Congrats to you both!!!

In case your wife doesn't like it, I'll be glad to take it off your hands.

Just checked the price on one of those, dang well it should be pretty! It should have XM radio, a camcorder and phone on it too! MSRP $1,652. He is a very good husband with a very good job!

Er...ah...I'm having a bad flashback to the '70s!

That's how I found out about it. I was looking through a gun porn mag & my wife saw a picture of it. In over 20 years together, this is the only gun she has ever seen that she instantly fell in love with...just from the picture. So, I ordered it for her birthday in June, but apparently the demand was greater than Kimber's production capabilities. So it's a little late (3 months), but from her reaction it was well worth the wait.
