    No more C model Glocks!

Read on Facebook that C models are being discontinued! Probably one of Glocks best kept secrets is the C model. I sure love my 23C! Sure makes shooting a 40 cal a breeze!
Hopefully this won't effect the used prices because I really want another couple or so!

Maybe the two spring recoil rod makes it unnecessary?

Not sure that the new Gen 4 rods can make as much of a difference as porting.

I don't own a C model and never considered owning one.

Most misunderstood glock ever. Really fun to shoot. Easy to get one and get a regular barrel. 2 guns in 1.

Just have to be aware of muzzle flash at the face during CQ shots and more flash in front of the face in low light conditions more so over a standard barrel. You also lose a some muzzle velocity with a comp barrel. Not much though.

Had one I ran in USPSA for a while. Great gun, lots of fun to shoot. But I would NEVER use a compensated gun for defensive purposes. It isn't a gun you want to be shooting from retention. It isn't a gun you want to fight with at night. And thanks to "stuff" escaping from the ports not a gun I desire to shoot without eye protection. Just my own bias, but for the purpose most people intend with a Glock purchase it isn't ideal.

Never saw the need for it.

I always thought of ported guns as kind of like having training wheels on a bicycle. Beginners might benefit from it but, someday, if you're going to really use the product as most people do, you're going to want to get rid of the training wheels. I'd prefer to have someone learn to ride a bike without training wheels from the start.

Just like they discontinued the OD and FDE Glocks? That didn't last too long.

I had no interest in having one anyways.

The C model Glocks I have seen at gun shows are always priced less than their unmodified counterparts on the same table.
