RIA 1911 CS 45 ACP
Brought her home field stripped cleaned well, finally got a chance to taker out for a first spin.
First time out with the new gal , 15 & 20 yards drawing from concealed carry, strong/weak hand firing, rapid fire - think I'm going to like her a bit!
Did ya throw the bullets at it? We wanna see the gun too!

I'll have to try to get the wife to get her camera out again and take some pics of the new gal
She looks like this (not mine but same pistol)
It is about one pound lighter than the GI and you can tell it both carrying and shooting it LOL IT is a blast to shoot though I have long been skeptical on smaller/compact 1911's I may be converted- I think this will be my new EDC
My first carry gun was a RIA compact 1911 paid $369 NIB and it came with GI sights, accurate as heck reliable with reloads and HP ammo HST/Gold Dots, and very concealable,it also had a better trigger than my $1100 Stainless Colt Commander XSE before I got a trigger job

Yep I pulled ONE shot first time shooting her
Not my best shooting (by far) but was to see IF it was suited TO ME for Carry- weak hand , draw and fire etc. the miss was weak hand turning(rushed the shot ) so I can live with that one LOL
I need much more work with the compact weak hand NO doubt- strong hand did "OK" I think
I've carried a GI RIA for a long while, found this one and "had to have it" finally got to the range and it' s looking like my new EDC - in fact I'm wearing it now . TO "me" they're the very best thing going anywhere near the price point, they're not "the prettiest" but I carry IWB so anyone likely to see it won't care how pretty the pistol that put them down was
The .45 in my avatar is a RIA CS that I love. The only thing I've changed is the grips so far (Hogue rosewood). I probably will have the sights changed out soon, still deciding what I want on it. The trigger is sweet isn't it?
