I will keep the shield but I wanted a carry without polymer. Picked this RAMI up today. I have never had a subcompact that felt so perfect for my hand. I knew as soon as I gripped it that I was buying it.
Here are a couple images. One next to my shield. It's thicker than the shield but it holds 10+1.
It weighs a little more but not as much as you'd think.
I love it.
The RAMI is an excellent choice.
*WARNING - I may or may not know what I am talking about.
Your going to love it, I have the CZ75 P01 and find its the bet shooter out of the box I ever bought. They feed hydra shocks an sabres, critical defense perfectly.
I'm jealous! I have the original RAMI with manual safety. When I got it they hadn't introduced the de-cocker version yet. Just for your info the CZ 14+1 magazines will work in it as well. When I carry my RAMI I carry a 14+1 mag as my spare.

Been looking for one - where did you get it? LGS?
My EDC: Springfield XDS
My sometimes EDC: Colt XSE LW or G26
I looked hi and low locally for a RAMI for over a year but none was to be had. I will have to resume the search one day,.

CZ makes a good gun. I competed for many years with a CZ 75B. The big brother of the Rami. The Rami is a little too heavy for my taste but I too like an all metal gun but went with the Sig P938 at about 16 ounces and a 7 +1 capacity with extended mag. Once the weight goes over 20 ounces I go with a larger and heavier gun because it all comes down to physics. Weight per square inch so that a larger gun may exert less weight in a given area than a small gun of less weight.
I prepare for the possible that is most likely and not the unlikely simply because it is possible.
Very nice, LOVE the CZ's too. Just took my P-01 out yesterday and put another 100 flawless, sweet shooting rounds through it.
The rami is a little known compact gem. I'm not the biggest fan of the smaller guns myself, but it sure makes a fine compact carry package. The grip on every CZ I've ever held is molded for you hand, pretty amazing they were able to keep that and the CZ reliable reputation (from all I've heard/read) in such a small framed pistol. I didn't know the 14 rnd mags were compatible as well, that's a big plus.
Congrats on your new pistol, it will serve you well.
The stupidity of some people NEVER ceases to amaze me.

Excellent choice. I own two CZ's and often consider them some of my best gun money spent.
