Wink Something old, and something new.

While looking for a new front sight for my LCR I came across this little gem.

That's right, it's a -1, 442. -1 as in no lock, woohoo! It was NIB and priced right so I grabbed it up along with my HI-Viz sight for my LCR. Got it home and slapped my classic grips on her and now she's perfect!

Here's the LCR by itself sporting the new sight.

Here's the pair together. All in all, it was a good day.

A while back I contemplated between the LCR and 442. The price difference was small, but the 442 felt better in my hand. The decision is on hold until I get a chance to shoot both. Looks like you solved that dilemma.

...a silver six-shooter in her (naah-shoe doesn't really work here).

I like the look of the Model 442 over the Model 642. That one looks real fine.

    Nice!

While I appreciate the practicality of polymer guns (all my carry guns are such), I still love a nice piece of wood for aesthetics. She's a beaut!

Sweet, I may not carry my 442 all the time but, it is my favorite 38 Snub. It is also one of my back up guns that get rotated into my daily Two Gun Carry.

With plenty of light around it's awesome, but in low light doesn't help at all. I'll probably end up getting the night sight for it down the road... If I was you, I'd opt for the Tritium XS night sight.
