But I like the sights on the S&W, and it has a laser. Not that I really want a laser, but why not?

I have the S&W Bodyguard. Very nice gun and no problems. It's on par with LCP so its basically personal preference.

Google "SW Bodyguard Issues" and the same for the LCP.

I have a bodyguard, and it feeds everything very thin easy for pocket carry, I just find myself never grabbing it. Even for fast trips to store always grab the 642. If you choose the BG use FMJ as heavy as you can find.

I have had none of the issues widely reported on the internet. I did put some blue loctite on the laser screw but that was just out of caution. It had shown no signs of coming loose. It has been fine for almost 500 rounds. Mine is not one of the early serial numbers so maybe some of the early run bugs are worked out.

I have large hands and have tried the Kel-Tec P-3AT, Ruger LCP, and the S&W Bodyguard. They all exhibit limp wrist type failures for me because they flip in my grip. My Sig P 238 .380 had thousands of flawless rounds through it. My Sig P938 is showing the same reliability with slightly larger dimensions. My life is worth the extra money. If the micro .380s work for you, I am happy for you. They don't work for me. My other pocket gun is a Springfield XDS-45 which was also flawless until it was recalled recently.

Yes, I also have larger hands. The S&W fits a little nicer in my grip. I am going to go for the micro pistol for now. I won't know if they work for me until I buy one since I don't know anyone that has a micro pistol for me to try.
