    My Black 642

I finally got my 642 back from S&W for refinishing. The old finish was peeling and starting to corrode from sweat. I had the frame and yoke refinished in black for better concealment. Here are some pics.

    From 642 to 442

Except for the stainless cylinder and barrel, you have transformed your model 642 into a model 442.

Turn around time was about 3 months. They were having problems in the refinishing department. I guess things are ok now. I"m glad to have it back.
