Looking to get .45 for CC

I am seriously thinking of upgrading to a .45, but don't want a 1911. Looking at a compact carry, 8 to 12 round capacity. Perhaps a Springfield or S&W, but am not committed to those choices.

    Any recommendations?

I surely do like my M&P 45c. I also have recently become a fan of the Kahr CW45, but that has a 6+1 capacity.

    H&K USP45C or HK45C; Glock 30...

That, is, of course, if you really want to forgo a 1911.

Yep, those would be my choices sans the Glock.

The SIG-Sauer P220 carry, or P245 would replace the Glock choice.

G30. With a G21 mag, it fill the HD bill quite well.

Glock 30 gen 4. Probably the best shooting .45 for its size. It's the only handgun I own because I have no need for anything else.

There are several good .45 alternatives on the market.

Why is nobody suggesting an XDs?

I'm just kidding, I'm waiting just like everyone else.
