    Baby Eagle Compact Owners?

    Hi Guys.

Does anyone own or carry a Magnum Research Baby Desert Eagle compact?

Steel or polymer, I'm more interested in the polymer in either 10 or 12 round
    capacity.

Any carry loads or holster pics would be welcomed as well.

    Thanks,

    KEV

I have the 9mm in polymer, .40 in polymer, and .40 in steel. Currently looking to sell/trade (locally) the .40 in steel though. No complaints here about them, they've all been excellent, reliable, and accurate shooters. I can't make any carry recommendations though since I've just used them as range guns.

    Thanks.

I like the idea that they are (in 9mm) about the size of my alloy framed RAMI, and even weigh 2 ounces less.

10 or 12 round capacity, I'd be happy with 10 rounds.

Should be very reliable as they are a CZ75 based gun.

I only wish that I could handle a poly framed Compact in my area.

    Newly arrived from Bud's Gunshop:

As a fan of the stoic CZ75 pistol design and clones of CZs.

I've been curious about the Baby Desert Eagles for some years.. and was finally able to handle
    the full-sized .45 a few weeks ago.

I was surpprised that was bigger in person than in the catalog, or the reviews I've read.

A bit larger than my RAMI alloy in 9mm in all areas (more like a PCR) , but also a few ounces lighter, esp. with 10 rounds in a 12 round mag.

(I've lived with 9 shots in my RAMI for almost 10 years, so it's not a big deal)

I do like the safety/decocker, but would not carry it with the safety on.

My hand is kind of cramped on it, and you have to almost slam the mags in to get them to seat.

I'm still planning on buying the smaller and slimmer PPS 9mm after my LCP/w CT and acc. sells
    locally.

People should be buying more guns after their tax returns start coming back.

Holsters seem to be impossible to find for the Polymer Compact, unless you get one
also from Israel, like the Frontline IWBs. Or directly from Magnum Research.

I can't see where High Noon lists a holster model for the Polymer framed BDEs.

I hope to get out and shoot this polymer "Beagle" this weekend.
