That'll get the job done! Had a chance to shoot it yet?

What does it weigh? Bbl length?

Very nice! Congrats. Should do the job, all right.

I own a LOT of S&W's......OK I am insane BUT the 2 1/2" 686 is my ALL TIME FAVORITE. One with Crimson Trace sits on my nightstand, and it's twin rides in my car with 4 speedloaders, no rice burner riding punks going to stop my truck. :):):) If I could only grab one, it would be 686 2 1/2" I shoot SOMETHING every week and a 686 always goes along. My indoor range only goes to 50 feet and it gets boring putting cylinder after cylinder in the head.

Gosh am I jealous! For wheels, I only have a 60 and the same 686 with the CT grips that you do. If I started to try to duplicate your collection my husband would have a fit - he'd probably want to buy an airplane (since he already has "enough" guns............)

I'm showing this pic to my wife, she has the odd idea I am the only person who needs a 3rd gun safe!!

Nice revolvers, there. Wish I had my own indoor range.

Now, show us the semi pistols.

Seriously. This is my ENTIRE collection of bottom feeders. The only reason I got these, 9mm CZ P-01's, is it shares same ammo with my two S&W 940's and with 32 round mags is just what the Doctor ordered in a SHTF situation, or a drive on a New York highway if I were ever to run across rice burner gangs.

I'm freaking out seeing those bolts in that holster so close to that new snubby. Nice gun, hate your holster.

Great looking snubbie! I'm sure you will find it to be a good shooter as well!

As another L frame fan here is something you don't see every day. It's a THREE inch, SQUARE butt, UN-FLUTTED cylinder 586. Only one I ever saw and didn't even know these were made. Has original box and papers so it's the real deal. I paid a 'healthy' but not unreasonable price for it.
