Great choice. If I carry a 4" 1911 I'd carry the +p HST's

I dont carry my 1911s, they are more than I want to carry around all day. I have two, a Remington Rand from 1919, and a custom, built off of a millitary frame , SA slide, Barstow barrel, and Wilson trigger. The custom shoots much better but the Remington just makes me smile everytime I look at it.
The SA Micro Compact above might be something Id carry tho. Very Cool! Dr
