2 shot derringers have been around for a long time.
    Nothing new here.
Great caliber, but at 13-14 ounces I will pass for a pocket 9mm or .380

So you get two bullets? Why not carry an lcp? No hammer either, and more ammo in case you miss or need more shots to put BG down.

My SIG M11 can shove out 8 doubles. It's pretty cool.

I took a look at one at my local Cabelas. IMO, the grip is bigger than it should be and doesn't conceal better than a small .380ACP. Personally, I'd rather have 6+1 and quick reloads than 2 shots with virtually impossible reloads.

I see it as a super hide out, after I have gone thru my other 3 guns and 150 rounds and as the Zombie is chewing on my leg.......................

They're a gimmick. For the size and weight there are many better options out there that will have higher capacity.

I see the DoubleTap as the gun for the guy who will only carry a 45.

Don't know if they sorted it out yet, the 45's expanded so much the empties had to be tapped out from the muzzle. That, and a sticker price of $500? A Glock 26 or M&P Compact can be had for about the same money. No thank you.

I seem to remember inertia causing the firing pin to contact the second round's primer when the first had been fired or some such horror story. Aren't there a few other problems with customers having to return these things?
