Glock 19 waiting at the LGS for me.

Well I got a chance to shoot a 19 gen4 this morning while at the range and I got the fever. Well long story short my LGS cut me a deal since I had just got a 36 from him 2 weeks earlier.
I thought other guns were addictive but sheese, I now have triplets, 30s, 36 and a 19 on the way.
At least it costs half as much to shoot as the 45s. I don't reload yet...

    Come on Tuesday..

    Mike

South of I-70, quite a bit less than for those north of the "line." At least that's all starting to change, up there (CHL's and all).

OP, you'll love the new G19. Hard not to like those. Slim, trim, great in the hand, accurate as anything. Congrats on the new pony in the stable.

Don't keep it waiting. It needs company and love.

    You're on the road to becoming a Glock-a-holic...but it's a good thing.
To the wife, they all look like the same gun...important point.

    Spoken like a true 'holic.

Them purses all look alike. As do the shoes. And the Glocks. Words to live by, I guess. (Wouldn't know. Don't have any purses, myself. )

Here's to NEW GUN DAY! I recently had a similar scenario as far as anticipation of delivery. I'm excited for you! As for the "triplets", it's nice to have a choice of what to carry every day - spice of life and all that.

Enjoy the G19- just picked up one to add to my Glock collection.

Only thing to figure out is how to stop the shells from ejecting into my face, vs. to the side, etc.. Seems to be a big problem..

Congrats on your new G19, I pick one up about three weeks ago and love it. My XDs .45 came back about a week ago but since I got the G19 I put the XDs in the safe but I will take it out just not now.

In Illinois, long guns 24 hours, pistols 72 hours/
Mods? adding a Pachmyer sleeve as the poly grips feel too slick to me. Tri sights later, maybe some trigger work to smooth the parts. General stuff only.
The trigger on my 30 needed zero work, smoothhhh, the 36, problem child trigger, Luck of the draw but its coming along.
Wife? What wife? My big D was final last week, now I can have all my guns out at once!!!! And if I want, run around the house in my underwear with a pistol strapped to my side. (that's an ugly picture)
Glock-a-holic?? Could be as I was signing the papers I eye kept drifting over to a 34 laying in the case, what can I say, I love guns!
    I must confess, I am also a CZ-holic, 1911-holic, Kahr-holic. Just glad not a alcoholic.

^Always happens after a divorce...you find you're "richer" than ever before. Now go get em' tiger, amass all you can because eventually you'll get trapped again and find yourself living on a gun budget.

I know I spent 20k on jeep mods, two years later I remarried, I still have the jeep....fourteen years and counting. My gun budget consists of 2 maybe 3 a year.

We used to shoot with a group at an indoor range. Since most of the shooters were also reloaders my designated job was picking up brass. A few of us shot G 19's and our brass went "the usual places" - sides and slightly downrange. However when it was Linda's turn to shoot HER 19, I knew I never had to go up to the shooting line to find her brass: It was ALL way to the rear of the range area! Other folks there said each gun has its own personality. True or false?
