Waiting on you to review it, the P224 too.

Why buy before it has the Sixto seal of approval?

The p224 doesn't really interest me personally. But the 227, it looks pretty cool

I handled a p227 last week. It feels a lot like my p226. If it had a 14rd mag I'd but it now. I still might get one by Christmas since I love my 226.

I just picked up mine today from my ffl. So far I like it. Trying to find time to shoot it. I originally wanted a p220 but after reading about the 227 and people saying it felt like a 226 in 45 I went ahead and got my hands on one. I woul post a pic but I'm replying from my phone

If you’ve ever shot a P220 and handled a P226 then the P227 will be no surprise to you. It feels almost exactly like a P226 (E2 with short trigger) in your hand and its recoil is like a P220, only a bit softer due to wider grip and better distribution of the recoil impulse.

I found the P220 to be a bit narrow for my big hands, but the P227 fits like a proverbial glove.

Mine shoots exactly like my P226 does - very precise and accurate.

It's a Sig and it's a .45. What more do you need to know?

Which one are you looking at, the full size or the carry?

I'm not sure... being that the 220 is my duty gun, both interest me. The carry is probably the most practical for me.

None around here, (Michigan), yet. Dealers tell me it'll be at least six months before they get one, which means it'll be a year or 18 months before one is in a showcase. Dealer's pets will get them pretty much right off the truck.

I shot one yesterday. Everyone is dead on- feels like a 226. As soon as I find one I am buying it, period. Sweetest shooting 45 this side of a very high end 1911- with the reliability of Sig. I'm sold.

    Giggity.

I guess I'm on the hunt. Both for a P227 and a grand to buy one.

And let the forum fall into chaos? No way. The hammer is needed.
