This is a discussion on New guy's fleet... within the Defensive Carry Guns forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; Just thought I would post a couple pics of a few of my carry/training fleet. M&P FS 9mm M&P 9C...
Good Lord. That's quite a, uh........well, that IS an M&P 9, isn't it?
Maybe several. Quite the mods you have.
If I were training, Id just use a basic gun without a bunch of fancy stuff on it. Train with what you carry, and carry what you train with. It doesnt seem like a tacticool or match gun would really be the way to go for carry.
Well, those are the most interesting M&P's I've seen so far.
"Rebellion against tyrants is obedience to God." - Benjamin Franklin
"Experience: that most brutal of teachers. But you learn, my God do you learn." - C.S. Lewis
You must be the kind that owns one gun and had the gun store clerk load it for you the day you bought it and you haven't touched in since....

If you can, always carry, you can't choose the moments, they choose you. - Colion Noir (2013)
Where did you have the machine work on the slides done at? I like that look!
"Never stand and take a charge...charge them too."
--- General Nathan Bedford Forrest, CSA
Interesting. Do you keep stock sights on both? Are you satisfied with the stippling?
I like the obvious lighten results from the machining, but it looks a little overdone for my taste. I would have used lines on the top of the slide instead of the scalps. Cool guns none the less.

"If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so." – Thomas Jefferson
Uh-oh, the villagers are going to get their torches and farm implements to go after the FrankenM&P. Arrr, fire bad!!
Different. I like 'em. Especially the FS. I'm a sucker for porting on the slide at an angle.
Needz moar serrations!!!
-It is a seriously scary thought that there are subsets of American society that think being intellectual is a BAD thing...
OP, I like the 9c a lot. I bet one hand manipulations are much easier with that...
