G42 at the 2014 Shot Show!?

What's this all about? I heard about it on another forum. Lots of speculation and wishful thinking. My wish is a baby baby Glock.....like a real pocket 9mm Glock.

I doubt anyone knows for sure, but I heard the same rumors you did.

The most interesting thing about it is that the next model number up was "40" and that would have caused a lot of confusion with the Glock Fotay lovers...

If it's that tiny it probably won't meet the import points requirement.

I was teaching at a police firearms instructors conference in September and told the Glock sales rep that a single stack Glock 9mm would be a welcome addition.
He winked at me and said that he had just been to a Glock meeting and that my wish may come true very, very soon.
    Sure hope so.

There must be something to it, they list three new SKU numbers PG4130101 and PG4130103.

    GLOCK 41 GEN 4 45ACP 5.3 AS 10RD GLOCK PG4130101

Model 42 SKU is supposed to be UI4250201.

    (edit to correct SKUs.)

It appears there will be three new pistols, there are three SKU numbers.

My guess....single stack .380 and 9mm. No one in business can see what the shield did and not notice...

I have no idea if this guy knows what he is talking about or not?
FWIW, I found the SKU numbers for the new pistols on one of my distributor's sites last night while I was doing some ordering for the shop.

Glock 41 SKU numbers are PG4130101 and PG4130103, which indicate adjustable sights, and a low-cap and hi-cap version. The Glock 41 is more expensive than any of Glock's other pistols to date; based on the wholesale cost I'm seeing, street price will be $779.95 at my shop.

The Glock 42 SKU number is UI4250201, which indicates US-made, fixed sights and a low-capacity (10 or less) magazine. Wholesale price on this is only slightly above the Gen3 models, so our street price should be $539.95.

Actual pricing will, of course, vary by dealer/region/etc. but that should give a general idea.

I was really hoping the 41 would be an "optics ready" competition gun to compete with the M&P CORE and FNX-45 Tactical, and the 42 the long-awaited single-stack 9mm. If the OP's info ends up being correct, I'm much less excited. :(

Been wondering myself what Glock might put out since they have the full USA manufactured aspect now. Seems like they can put out the .380 now that they wouldn't have to worry about the import requirements on their USA made models. I know they are missing out on the "pocket pistol" market. People would be tripping over each other for a true sub compact Glock similar to the Shield/Nano/XDs/flavor of the month.
