I think it's made by Tisas, or some other Turkish company. I wouldn't want one, but each his own.

I just looked them up. I never heard of them. They say made in USA and run about $2400. But I honestly never heard of them.

    Hmmm... A no-name brand at a top-shelf price.

The answer to a 1911 question is "What is a Colt?" Alex, I'll have Glock history for $1000.

Well, I was wrong on that one! I thought the OP was referring to the cheap series of Turkish guns Buds Gun Shop is having specially engraved for the branches of the Armed Forces.

Thanks for the info. I checked them out. I just wish that Bud's would import the Tisas M45. I'd buy one. SS, 4" barrel, half the price of the SA, what's not to like? T?SA? - TRABZON GUN INDUSTRY CORP. The PCS 1911 is also a good looking 4" barreled 1911, has rails, but it is chromed.

Just googling them and looking for reviews, there isn't much available. As already mentioned, I'd save some money and go for the CZ/Dan Wesson.

For 2400 I'd want the grip safety to be fit better than it is. Makes me wonder what other corners have been cut.

I sure wouldn't venture into an unknown 45 at that price when there are so many good ones for a lot less. Colts and Dan Wesson would be my first choice then I'd jump to a Springfield TRP or something..
It's not a problem til they make it one!
