When I was issued a .45acp Glock, the only choice available was the G-21.... kind if speaks for itself.
The M&P .45 replaced that mess well.

Now that I don't need one, they come out with the G-30. Nice.

Congratulations! I had a slight problem with mine in the beginning. The first 50 rounds, it'd FTF on the last round in both magazines. After awhile I think the recoil spring worked itself out and haven't had a problem in over 200 rounds. I carry it now in the same Galco King Tut that carried my G 23.

Nice! Is it just the way the picture looks on my phone or do you only have 9 in the mag?

I bought mine for $560... Haven't hit the range yet, but due to being a 45 cal. Should not be much recoil as the 40 cal. It's a based on grip and experience.

I love, love, LOVE my 30S. You'll be extremely happy with it! IMO it's Glock's best pistol. Even the 19 pales slightly when compared to the 30S.

It's quite a feat at first to get 10 rounds in the mags. I just put 9 in them and it seems to cycle a bit better that way. To me, the grip is just a little bit wider than a G23 but still comfortable. The recoil is no worse than a .40. You're going to enjoy it.

For me, the G30 has the softest felt recoil of any .45acp weapon I've carried/fired, and it's also ranked among the most accurate. And I've carried/fired a good variety in the last 30 years.

Absolutely love mine. 500+ rounds through it, not a single hiccup. I carry with a PJ holsters IWB, which I highly recommend.

I found that to be true. I thought it was just me.... I was unable to get that last round in the mag. Now I need a holster. My LGS did not have a proper holster that would fit. Since this is my first glock, I don't have one that is usable.

I'm not saying we should kill all the stupid people. I'm saying remove all the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out.
