The first thing I do on my new guns I buy is take those ugly rubber grips off and put some nice and comfortable wood grips on my carry guns. Steve48

NICE COMBO on the grips and revolver.................Also, the dull finish and red insert make it look VERY appealing to the eyes.............

Thanks guys...I had some tell me that stag only looks good on a blued gun....well, I beg to differ and now I have back-up!

The finish is matte hard chrome, I love blue and these stags would look awesome on a black gun but I had it done after my cylinder started to pit...it looks a bit different than a normal chrome job because it's an aluminum frame and they first have to put a nickel substrate under it...I had it done at fords...the insert was done by ford's at the same time....but he used a hard plastic that eventually came out....I took the gun to kings gun works in pasadena and for 25 bucks they put in a more pliable plastic...to be honest, if i had to do it all over again, I'd leave the sight alone since in a close up SHTF, I doubt I will see it no matter what color it is..:)

BTW, Ford's does great work...they also did my P7 and reblued my HP to it's orginal black.... their site is www.fordsguns.com
