    Nice, You know instead of looking for guns I can't afford I should be looking for someone to give me such nice gifts.

    Now all you need Is a few Colts, Kimbers, Taurus, Sig, Wilson, Les Baer, Brown, etc all in 1911 of course.

    great gift....but in all honesty....it isn't much of a decision IMO which to carry....the revolver would get alot of safe time at my house. I am a big 1911 fan though.

    Congrats the S&W's are very nice, and in my opinion the thinness and comfortable grip make 1911's the best carry gun.

    Thanks, everyone! Gonna try to get the range this week and see how it shoots. I was pretty surprised by the gift - my wife believes she should stop a BG with a frying pan and not a gun, but I'm working on it :-)
