Looking for feedback for a S&W 327 2.5 bbl
I am in the process of purchasing a 327 and I just wanted to get some feedback if anyone has info, good or bad on this model. Currently have a model 19 short bbl. and that is currently my backup carry. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks and best regards

Nice gun!
I have seen pictures of these but have never seen one "in person". These are the 8 shot .357 magnum revolvers with scandium frame and 2 inch barrel, I believe. You'll have to tell us how it shoots when you take it to the range.

Seems like a 7 shot 357 would have a wider cylinder than a 6-shot? I can't handle revolvers for CCW because they're just too wide.
That being said, seems like an obvious choice for backpackers, or if you carry in a bag or pack. I would say it would make a nice car gun, but you're paying more for a Sc frame. Your car won't care if it's carrying steel or scandium in the glove box, but your pocketbook might.
Sorry, you asked for experience and I gave you speculation. You'll have to clue us in if you buy it!

I know some folks that could only describe the gun as "punishing". The .357 magnum load will make you flinch in that light of a gun.
Good Luck

Just picked her up!!!
Bought a lightly used[8rds] 327 2'' today for $699. What a beauty! Matched it up weight wise w/my model 19 2.5'' and all I can tell you all is that is night and day. So much lighter is the 327, that I'm really looking forward to see how it carries. Hopefully 1 day this week I can get to the range and see what both of us can do with each other. Will post results when I get them. Regards,
