GOOD! I'm tired of hearing about the 42, I can only imagine all the hub-bub if the little 9 was to be made.

    Blah, blah, blah....

Rumor and speculation abound. What actually ends up in stores will almost never resemble what we all think will or should.

I would like GLOCK to come out with a Commander - sized .45 based on the Slime Line G36. Am I holding my breath? Hardly!

The best you can do is write a few letters/emails asking for particular features or designs. Maybe, someday, they will listen and make it happen. Until then, just be happy they put SOMETHING out in that niche.

I'm surprised glock would ignore the single stack 9mm market.

I am surprised Glock is ignoring my desire for a long-slide double-stack 10mm like the G41 .45 ACP!

I'm surprised that Glock is ignoring my desire for an all-steel version with single-action trigger capability.

It has always struck me a little strange that when it comes to public demand for new products and ideas, that Glock has never seem to be quite as responsive as others, such as Ruger and SA. Glock just seems to dig in their heels and ignore the demand. Perhaps this business model works out well for them. But I get the impression that if 'ol Gaston didn't think of it first, then the rest of Glock thinks it must not be worth thinking about. And I don't think 'ol Gaston is doing a lot of thinking lately. I mean, but now you'd think they would have come out with at least one 9mm single stack and one rimfire model. We only been asking for what, 30 freakin' years?

The G38 would have been the king of .45 carry pistols, if Glock had made it in .45acp. Instead they created their own .45 short and loaded it to +p to compensate. People flocked to ignore it, and so did the ammo mfrs.

As to a single stack 9mm, I don't get it. 9mm is already pretty thin even in a double stack mag. Single stack just gives you fewer rounds.

I might as well get in on it too.

I'm surprised Glock has ignored my desires for an all metal hammer fired gun with a DA/SA trigger system.

My son has a Walther PPS and I've carried it several times. I love it, and it is a great shooter. I've never fired a S&W M&P Shield, but I hear it's a great gun. And of course the list goes on and on.
