My first Sig, just got a P238!

I just picked up my first Sig Sauer. It's a P238 that came with a stainless slide, extended mag, night sights, Hogue grips, pocket holster, and laser.

And now for some awful pics

P238 over Shield (lined up at front corner of mag)

P238 over Shield (luned up at top back of slide)

    PX4 loaded with 18 rounds - 35.5 ounces

Shield loaded with 9 rounds - 24.9 ounces

    P238 loaded with 8 rounds - 18 ounces

Excellent choice! I love my little P238. It is what I pocket carry in the summer. It is a great soft soft, accurate shooter.

Yep I plan to use it for pocket/belly band carry for the summer and when I'm running.

Nice pistol. Load it up with some hot BuffaloBore rounds and you're ready to go.

P238- one of the best for its genre now that the feeding bugs have been worked out.

The belly band carry may or may not work out well for jogging. If it don't - keep Pistol Wear in mind as an alternative. Pistol Wear - Holsters that fit your lifestyle.

I just picked up a 238 Sports with the same rubber Hogue grip and extended mag. It is very comfortable shooting and easy to carry. Enjoy it. Mine is also my first Sig and my new favorite. Let us know how it works out running. I am also a runner and have never found a good way to carry.

Great little gun. My first Sig also. In fairly rapid sequence i acquired a 938, 226 , M11A1 and 1911 that now reside in the gun safe. one of these goes with me daily. Even bought my youngest daughter a 238 rainbow for Christmas (afraid she would make off with mine!). the main competitor is an FN five seven. That one is just for fun.

My wife handled a P238 at a gun show last weekend. She wants one now. I mean, REALLY wants one.
