What will be your first new gun in 2007 ?

Well I will be going to the Orlando gun show this coming weekend and I will be loaded for Baer. That is I sold a couple of guns and looking for a Les Baer 1911. I am not too particular which model since it will be a range gun. I have a collection of Colts and several Kimbers feel that I am ready to take the next step. 1911s you gotta love em.
    Why do I carry a Gun? Because I can't carry a Cop

    Probably a Beretta A391 w/KickOff

Once MO repeals the PTA I'll likley get a Wilson 1911 I've had my eye on.

Mine will either be another AK, a SIG 556, or something I've been lusting for a while like a Glock 20 or 29, S&W 3913, or SIG P6/P225.

Dreaming of one of two weapons. I HP that visits Novak's for a Home Defense Package (waiting for holidays to be over with to talk to them) or a CCO sized 1911. More than likely I'll be getting the CCO sized weapon next Sunday, if I can find one for around $800. We'll soon see.

I don't own a 40 s&w yet. I am going with the Cougar 8000 as soon as the stores open on 2 Jan. Good price and it will expand my horizon some.

I will still carry my P-12-45 and SP-101-357. The Cougar will replace my HP in 9mm for in vehicle weapon.

update 2 Jan 2007: Picked up a lightly used Cougar. Put 450 rds through it at the range and I am pleased. It is a keeper.

Its a bit of a race right now. I've had a AR lower on order for about 3 weeks (the FFL has some "issues") or a Whitney Wolverien. The first weapon of 2007 will be one of those two. I hate waiting.

I will be buying my first rifle. Either a Marlin 336A or 336W.

I am thinking the first one I buy will probably be a S&W M&P in .40 cal and then maybe a few months later, a Stoeger Cougar in 9mm for my son.

But as always, that is subject to change as time changes all things. We'll see.
