Musical Weapons got me 3-1/2 new revolvers

This has been a nutty 4 weeks. I've been on a revolver lalapalooza but it's working out fine.

I started out with one revolver - my Taurus 85, and, then........

    First , I sold a 1911 and got a S&W 625JM for the Mr.

2nd, I traded in my G30SF for a Taurus 85 View which I don't have yet because they haven't been released yet. (That's the 1/2)

3rd, I got impulsive and got a S&W 327 Performance Center for me for my birthday and I didn't trade or sell anything so I'm one up in my count.

Then, 4th, a funny thing happened at the range yesterday. We tried out the 625 and 327 and, oh my, what pleasure. The Mr. can't get enough of the 625 and I was in heaven shooting my 327. After the Smiths, I ran 15 rounds through my 2-year old Taurus 85 and the trigger/cylinder froze. So, today, it went back to Davidson's through their Guarantee program. I got a hefty credit and grabbed a brand new S&W 642! I didn't see this one coming as I was previously happy with the 85.

I am dizzy from this merry-go-round of revolvers.

Nice! Up next: Super Blackhawk. C'mon, you need at least one Ruger.

The Taurus to S&W was a blessing in disguise. But wow, I like weeks such as you have had. And the 627 is an awesome gun!

Those are some great exchanges! I have to say, I am a bit jealous of your senor and his new 625JM.

I have had horrible luck with any S&W product, including the 5 shots of factory non+P ammo through my NIB 637 that froze it
    up solid.

Like Davidson's, my Dealer took it back ,no questions asked, and gave me a full refund:)

Nice to know that Davidson's took care of you on a 2 year old gun.

After your Taurus failure, did you cancel your View order?

This makes me shy away from a Taurus 905 9mm and just stick with a Ruger
SP-101 in .357 Magnum. I've never had to send a Ruger back.

I have more faith in Ruger revolvers than Taurus or Charter, but those autos
like a PT-92 that my buddy just scored for $300 seem to run well.

Great dealer you have there! I like Davidson's because they give a lifetime guaranty.

I thought of canceling my View but decided for now I am still going to go with it - only if it comes from Davidson's. At 8.9 oz. I can't come up with any other 5-shot revolver that compares and meets my criteria for thigh carry. It will bite for sure as I've seen in the Kentucky Gun Co. demo. It will get extensive scrutiny before I carry it. I have a $475 credit at my LGS and it's burning a hole in my pocket but there is really no other firearm on my want/need list. I am willing to give Taurus one more shot.
