    I broke a dc commandment

I sold my para USA black ops 1911 .45acp back to the pawn shop I bought it from. I paid $1099.00 for it and sold it back to them for $650.00. I realize that I could have got a better deal if I sold it to a private party, but I didn't wantbto go to the trouble of finding the right buyer, and I didn't want to take a chance on possibly selling to a prohibited possessor.

OUCH!! Hope all that "trouble" you saved was worth $200+ - not in my book. I've sold a few guns private party - I just like to require the buyer have a carry permit for handguns.

I sold a gun once when I was a teen, a Stevens Little Scout .22 rifle, regret it to this day. Have never sold another one.

Was $1099 the out the door price, or are you leaving out sales tax and bgc fee?

So you can afford to just throw $450 out the window huh? The only thing that comes to mind would earn me 5 to 10 points so...
