    Picked up a glock 42

Feels great in my hands love the feel and such, and this little .380 is my first glock. The comparison pics are against a full size m&p .40. I know it's not the 9mm that everyone wanted but hey it's something I wanted to get. Hopefully shooting it this weekend!

Hi new to the forum. I got a 42 last week I thought it would be a good carry gun for my wife. I took it out to the range and was very impressed. The gun is very accurate and is a soft shooter very controllable for a lady or youngster. Shot flawless with three different brands of ammo.

i am a glock person and carry one everyday on and off duty. but glock missed the boat when it came to a small 380 acp and/or 9mm. to late and to little. the glock 42 is just a little big against the other small 380 acp brands on the market. now if glock made a 380 acp the same size of the kel tec p3at, then count me in. if glock made a 9mm the same size as the kel tec pf9, then count me in. but they do not, so the glock 23 is the go to gun. but it is hard to beat a glock no matter what size it is.

Just waiting for the **whiners** to come out to say that Glock should have made it as a 9mm...., 380 is a waste....yadda yadda yadda. Just my opinion, but if Glock did made it as a 9mm this small and weight, they would be the same people whining that it hurts to shoot it with their girly hands...., the recoil hurts.......yadda yadda yadda. Congrats and enjoy your new toy. I plan on getting one too once they become more available. God Bless

It's so cute! The only issue I have with it is price. $425-450 in my area. Price it closer to a Bodyguard in the $360-399 range and it would be a great value.

I will start saving now, and by the time I have the money for it, one should be available in 9mm.

With the success of the g26...will they really make a single stack 9?

    Welcome and sweet guns. I have an M&P .40 and a Glock 26 gen 3. :)

Welcome to the forum from sunny Florida.

Nice photos and two nice guns.

I got my G42 last month and I really like it.

Great little shooter. Digested everything I fed it.

I settled on the Fiocchi XTPHP as my carry load. Recoil is minimal.

Enjoy your first Glock and welcome to "the dark side".

    Regards,

    FlaRon
