I remember speaking to Kahr president Justin Moon during SHOT Show 2006 and asked him if there would be a "PM45"....he said he couldn't comment on possible products. A buddy that was with me then asked, "theoretically" if Kahr came out with one, how many rounds would the magazine hold.....Moon quickly responded "five rounds." My friend and I smiled since that sounded like a confirmation that this gun was in the works.......thanks slimjim for posting the link....again, I smile.

That's cool, look's like a neat little gun. If they come out with a steel frame of this model I'd take a good look at it.

Nice. I really like that little compact.

But did anyone look at the TP4543? The grip looks crazy long to me. That model holds 7 round in the magazine and as a result the grip just looks way out of proportion to me.

Hope we get a range report on one of these as soon as someone buys one.

I am drooling. I love my current pm9. It would be nice to have one in 45 cal. I'll give them a year to work the kinks out... Thanks for the heads up. I will definitely be following the storyline on this little missile launcher. Any news about when they ship out?

I have an all stainless MK9 which I like and carry a lot. I would buy an all stainless "MK45" if they ever came out with a Micro 45 model.

I'm not a huge fan of polymer frames, but I have a Kahr K40 Covert. Its a steel framed, MK grip, K slide and barrel. I've only had time to put about 90 rounds through it. So far I love it.

There has been several pocket sized 1911's on the market for quite a while (Years) now. The Kimber Ultra Carry II, 3" Officers size and like pistols fit in the pocket quite nicely. I carry one more than my IWB Commanders and 5"s.

    I would say most people can't pocket carry a 3" 1911. I know I can't.

The first pocket .45 would probably be the semmerling anyways...

How small and light are they gonna make CCW guns in the end ?
I am all for a smaller concealed guns for carrying but I think one has to consider the "shootability" of the weapon also. A Kimber Ultra is about my limit. I remember a quote from either Clint Smith or Jeff Cooper that said,
"Guns are meant to be a Comfort, not necessarily Comfortable. "

    Anyway ... Just a thought.

Looks good, a little pricey for my meager budget though.

Most Kahrs in my experience (and I own three: P45, P9 Covert, and PM9 and I shot a buddy's P9), are exceptional shooters despite the DAO triggers, short sight radiuses and abbreviated grips. I shot the 62 round (or is it 60? I forget) Federal Law Enforcement Training Center course of fire with my P9 Covert posting a 296 out of 300. The course of fire is between 25 to 1.5 yards.

I have no doubt that my P45 or PM9 could clean the course if I did my part (or in the hands of a better shot than me). I pretty much expect the same performance from the PM45....but you never know.
