    Was it a good purchase?

Bud's had a sale yesterday for a Beretta Nano for $398 shipped plus a $100 dollar gift card. Which I'll probably use to purchase the 870 I've been eyeing. Anyways I jumped at the deal without thinking about it to much and now I've got a bit of buyers remorse. Do you guys think it was a good deal?

I saw that deal. I don't think you can beat a Nano for $298.

well, considering the 100 dollar card... that's 298 for what i assume is a NIB Nano..? that's doing pretty good i'd say...

If you like the pistol, then you did great.
If you impulse bought it, then, it was still a good deal. As long as you are able to pay all your bills, and no one is going hungry around your homestead, then don't worry what WE think!

For $298... I would be all over it if I had the cash. I think that is a great price.

A good deal and I've bought several guns from Buds myself. Great service.

I'm not really a fan of the Nano but for $300 I'd be interested just for a trade down the road.

Take it to the range. Shoot the heck out of it. Take some pictures. Let us know how it went.

For a gun in this class, I vouch for the Ruger LC9. This gun is virtually indestructible. Eats, feeds, and shoots everything with aplomb. Carries so easy you forget it's there. Easy to break down and clean. Holsters galore. Price is attractive. But I'd switch to the Nano if it's a better gun. Let us know what you think.

Thanks for all the replies! I feel a bit better now. Nobody is going hungry and all bills are paid. lol! I always do my best to keep a good chunck of change in my savings account for instances like this or other emergency that come up in life.

I've always like the look and feel of the Nano but it had some issues (FTE?) when it first showed debuted so I went a different direction. I've never fired the gun but I have dry fired it some at the LGS. The LC9 is a fantastic gun but I couldn't get passed the trigger or snappiness. I'm taking my sisters, mother and niece shooting next weekend to train them for their CCW class. I'll give you guys a range report then. I'm going to compare to my SIG P290.
