You might do some checking. To the best of my knowledge and google-fu. S&W never made the Sigma in .357 Sig. Are you sure someone didn't install an after market barrel in it?

This here.... Pretty sure they came in 9mm and 40 so only but I could be wrong. I would be cautious in this endeavour.

I used to own an SW9VE and heard there was a production run in .357 once upon a time.

This is true. Not sure of the quantities, but it was supposedly a "limited run." While Sigmas are decent guns, they're not exactly collectible, so I wouldn't value it ($$$) any differently than a 9mm or .40 model.

It is a factory SW357V with a stainless slide. I am not getting it as a collectors gun.
I just wanted an affordable 357 Sig. It comes with 3 mags and ammo.

The cost of ammo alone would make me pass but interesting to know they made one in. 357 sig

I have dies and plenty of 357 brass and powder.
I do have to get more primers and bullets.

Good luck with that last observation!

Yes they made them in .357 Sig.
    Very rare.
May be worth money to a S&W collector 50 years from now.

I have a SW9VE and it makes a great HD pistol.
It eats everything fed it and the trigger is not too bad at all.

I have two pistols in .357 Sig, which I like very much.

Those 3rd gen Sigmas (SW9ve and etc.) are good handguns for the money. I sold mine after 8 years only because I was consolidating all my handguns down to Glocks and M&P. Never a single issue with it other than a relatively heavy trigger and it fit nearly all G19 holsters.
