    Present from the wife - H&K P30

Gotta say I am married to the best wife ever. I had been looking for a good deal on a H&K P30 for the past few months and evidently she found one and went ahead and got it for me.

This is by far the most comfortable gun I have ever held and the trigger is simply amazing.

Sounds like you got a good one. You decide which ones I'm speaking of.

Congrats on the new pistol and the wife. Both are keepers.

We call ladies like that in Tennessee "KEEPERS".....but come to think of it....any women that gives guns to a husband qualifies as a keeper in any state. Congrats!!!

Some of us have it good. Some men don't, I'm told.

    Nice, congrats! Looks beautiful.

If/when I ever get an HK I'm thinking the p30 will be the one. Hope to get to try one out someday.

My wife's obviously still got a lot to learn .

very nice. Your wife has good taste in pistols. HKP30 is a sweetheart of a gun, and it sounds like your wife is too.

I am quite envious. That is the most ergonomic pistol I have ever held.

    You are a lucky man.

Great gun and wife, mine bought me a rifle before we got married 41 yrs ago. I sold it later to buy her curtains for a sliding glass door that we didn't have the money to buy.

Thanks guys. I obviously agree that my wife is the best thing ever.

What I find most amazing is the progression she has made on guns over the years. When I first started carrying she was dead against it. Thought it was dangerous and didn't see a need to have a gun 24/7. She thought having a gun in the car was enough. She then was fine with it if I didn't carry with one in the chamber. She eventually became fine with knowing that a loaded gun was around her and she started going to the range. Her first gun was a .22 and she didn't think she could handle more than that. Flashforward to today and she has her own carry permit and carries a XDm.
