One in chamber or rack on the fly?

I am new to the Glock CCW, and want to know what others think about not keeping one chambered. The trigger concerns me on a quick pull from a IWB holster. Do you keep the weapon "hot", or rack one in as needed? I have a G27.

you keep one in the chamber and your finger off the trigger. train on how to draw your gun with your finger off the trigger. learn how to holster your gun with finger off trigger. finger goes on trigger when you want the gun to go "bang". there is no reason to carry a gun without one in the chamber. when "it hits the fan" you will not have not have time to rack a round.

This topic has been discussed quite extensively... I'm convinced that a few searches would turn up plenty of the prior threads and there's probably not much new (other than the poll) that can be added here.

A pistol carried without a round chambered is just a poor excuse for a bludgeon.
