    Oh I'm sooooooo TOAST!!!

Ya see it was innocent act. I went into a gun show today with my son in law. It was his first gun show and we were just talking guns and oops there it was. My dream of dreams. A pretty Browning HP with all the work already done to it. Custom safety, no bite hammer, Novak sites, smooth trigger, mag release to spit mags it was soooo beautiful.

To make matters worse, my check book was in my back pocket and it had the money in it to pay the price.

Well you already know what happened, I have this diagnosed weakness for custom guns and this one just happened to be the type I had thought about (I guess the screne saver of the same pistol was my first clue). So like any addict I must admit I have a problem BUT I also have a very sweet custom Browning HP.

Before you say it, I know. Where are the pics. We'll I truly believe that paitence is rewarded (ok for others) and will reward your paitence tomorrow with pics. For now, this recovering kinda one armed gimp will play with my toy (the Browning you sick'o) and post pics tomorrow.

Back to my cage (with my new baby in my one good hand).

Firearms addictions are a terrible thing aren't they. At least what I keep hearing from my wife. I personally don't think I have a problem. I mean, I can stop whenever I want...right?

Was this the Dallas Market Hall show (you being from Denton and all)? If so I was there yesterday and all I have to say, Dear God I've never seen that many people at a gun show before.

Yep it was. But if you think that was a gun show, you really should go to Warnermakers in Tulsa, now thats a gun show.

I do have to say though, the prices are a little better at the gun shows here in Dallas but not by much.

The old it followed me home trick! I just did the same thing with a Stoeger Cougar 40S&W. But I have so many, my wife didn't recognize it as something new. Also glad to know of someone else with a BHP fetish! Hate the round, love the gun.

Congrats on the new baby and I hope the verbal beatings don't last too long.

Actually its the verbal SILENCE. I havent figgured out which is worse. I'll feed some of my dinner (if she makes me any) to the dog to see if it kills over first, LOL.

If ya'al read about a fed dying of food poisioning in Texas, you'll know what happened (and there will be guns for sale cheap).

Ya Know I do the same dance with my wife. After 30 years she should understand by now that I'm not going to quit. Got my 14th 1911 this week and she was not a happy camper. My favorite reply to her when when she bitches about the $$$ going for guns is "when I'm gone YOU get to sell them all". She says don't say that and the "game is over"

Haha - my approach too, except I call em all ''investment'' - same thing really.

If I pop off first (as I almost certainly will, being 15 years older) - I know that not only can my son pick his faves, but she can liquidate what she wishes, pay for my disposal - and have plenty of change
