I've had one for about the past 6 weeks. It's a shooter, and I've had no problems with it. I've got around 500 rounds through it, and I'm currently carrying Speer Gold-Dot as my defensive ammo.

The single stack design makes it EASY to conceal, and the LDA trigger pull is smooth throughout.

One of the 1911 forums has a pretty extensive write-up on the Carry 9.

Not to divert attention to another forum, but like Bashful mentioned, M1911 Forum did a review. Here is the link...

Have you had the opportunity to shoot or feel any of Para's LDAs? While opinions are heatedly mixed, I find the LDA trigger to be quite pleasing despite being a fan of the Mr. Browning's orginial single-action design.

Mixed feelings on the LDA. Smooth trigger pull, but more parts might mean more to go wrong. My buddy had a LDA .45 that did break. Para fixed it, he traded the gun.
Also the gun is not a true DA gun. More like a long , light SA pull.
