    Sigs:lets see them.

Ok I know there are some Sig lovers and haters on here. So this is for the lovers. Lets see those Sigs. New ones, old ones, USA ones, German ones, Swiss ones. It doesn't matter.

I've mentioned before I've been in love with the idea of owning a Sig since I was about 14. When the 229 came it it became my grail gun. Last year I bought my first semi-auto handgun. Yes I'm behind times. You guess it I bought a Sig 229 in .40. Its a SAS with srt and legacy slide.

I had aspirations of carrying this but it's a fat and heavy pig. It's now one of my HD guns. Basic P229R in 40SW. It's the most accurate handgun I own other than my dedicated target guns.

My first Sig, 1911 C3 (well technically I have the .22 too but GSG makes it so I'm not going to count it. plus I'm too lazy to take a picture of it ).

Here it is all cozy and tucked in for the night.

    Nice holster Dula.

Stoveman, you liked the 227 so much you bought another one in the Scorpion flavor? Do you like it over their 1911 platform?

You know Sig is the largest producer of 1911's in the world? I read that a few weeks ago. Everyone thinks Colt when they think 1911 but Sig has the number one spot. Colt is selling the MARSOC Marines (Force Recon) their new 1911 platform that looks a lot like the Sig Scorpions. Its a pretty piece but way to rich for my blood. I could buy two FNX Tacticals for the cost of the Colt.

Sig makes more 1911s than Kimber? Did the article say where their numbers came from?

West German marked. Triple serial numbers, datecode KC.

I like all kinds of foreign guns.

I don't always use missiles, but when I do it's the Minuteman III LGM-30G
