    Taurus M380

Picked this beast up yesterday...when I ran in a Local Pawn Shop....
I'd already done my homework on this firearm ..knew all negatives and the positives..
So I bought it...need to order smaller grips ..(already found some)

Trigger is less than desirable..but ..its a cheap fix....
Ran a few rounds through her this AM ..it goes bang ..I hit the target...need to practice with this trigger

TCP mag makes great reloader !!!

Glad you explained the mag. I was wondering how the short length of the mag, combined with the rake of the grip allowed for feeding the cylinder, particularly without an ejection port thingy and an extractor main spring slide stop.

    Anyway, good shooting.

I had a Taurus 455 once upon a time..used a 1911 mag to carry extra ammo ..and shucked ammo right in the cylinders ...

    Its weird ..but works..

    smaller grip
smaller? Well, different hands, light cartridge. I'm sure you can find some a splinter style grip somewhere. Possibly the Banarmi hip grip?

Standard Taurus small frame, or a unique size?

Kelly Arms makes a great CC grip for this gun...the regular 85 grip will not work...his grips are works of art....

From what I'm reading and hearing, a *lot* of manufactures are slipping in the QC department. Taurus may be inching closer to the pack simply by default...

But I do agree -- they seem to be doing better in that department lately.

The mags work for the derringer also as a reloader tool

No offense intended. There are many Taurus fans out their, Im just not one of them. If it works well for you there is nothing wrong with it.
