My springfield EMP came in today!
Finally got my EMP in at the FFL! Gonna pick it up tomorrow. Had the feed ramp polished to increase it's appetite. Hope it works. I'll try to post some picks when I get it in.
Anyone else own one of these? Any problems?

Have heard great things about this gun, Be sure to post not only pics but how you like it at the range.

congrats...they are really great lookin' guns. I am still trying to decide whether to buy the EMP or the Aegis. Just waiting for someone to do a range report on both of them. Look forward to reading yours.

Anyone know when they plan to release the .40 and .45 gap? I have a nice 9 but would like to see the .40 and the gap.
Sure hope you enjoy your EMP. Sounds like they did a lot to make these some quality pistols. In 9mm this thing should shoot like a dream. Can't wait to hear from you after you shoot it.

I'm really getting interested in this little pistol. Definitely post some pictures if you get a chance - there don't seem to be that many pics from owners around yet.

I'm pretty sure, though I could be wrong, that they do not intend to release the EMP in 45 GAP and I doubt they would do 40 either.

As you said, you could be wrong, and you are! J/J :) They absolutely do plan on both of those calibers, they just havent given set dates yet; but they are indeed. Thats is the exact reason the EMP exists. See this link

They tried to launch this platform 2 years ago in 45 GAP. It even got a cover shot and article in Guns and Ammo.
The incredible lack of interest made them sit on it unitl they figured out that it might be popular with a fancy new name and in a much more popular caliber. I'd guess they'll get back to the 45 GAP at some point, but I doubt they're in a rush.
