    It's a scandium frame/titanium cylinder. In actuality it's really not in the same price range as that Springfield, but if I were to buy that Springfield they would both cost roughly the same after accessories. I just picked two guns I like out of the air for comparison purposes to show that the revolver really isn't giving up a lot of capacity compared to the single stack autos a lot of CCW holders favor.

    I won't buy another handgun until I've saved up some money for something nice and have been carrying for a while. I figure with more experience I'll know what I want.

    But I do know my "always" gun will always be a wheelgun of some type. I'm somewhat unfortunate in that what I like to shoot for the joy of shooting is not something I find easy to carry, at least not at this point.

    Gotcha. I do like the weight of those Scandiums. As a student who was saved by his teacher in HS, I say thank you for being a Teacher.

    My PM9 bug is always with me in a pocket. I'd say about 60% my Colt XSE L.W. Commander, 20% Springfield XD9 Service, & 20% S&W Model 10-10 .38 Spcl. 4" Heavy Barrell. I voted semi 'cause my Colt rides my hip the majority but I do throw my Mod. 10-10 in the mix just to shake things up a bit. Be safe, Lazyace1975.

    I carry a H&K P7M8. I've been carrying the P7 series for about 24 yrs and it's become a part of me... Can't complain about how well it works, cept that they get a bit warm when you're shooting lots of ammo

    Depends on where I'm going, what I'll doing, and what the weather is like!
    For CCW I will choose one or two of the following;
    Taurus 651, Kahr PM9, Para Ordnance P12, Sig P229(40S&W/357Sig) and/or H&K USPc 357Sig

    I carry a 5" Colt 1911 in the winter when I have more clothes on and don't sweat much. In the hot summer months I carry a Colt Officer's Model .45, which is stainless. At present the full sized auto is loaded with 9 rnds of Triton 230 gr HP, the Officers is loaded with 8 rnds of Triton 200 gr HP. I carry two spare magazines with each.
