    Cool Taurus PT-145 Pro SS

I've got a question for someone. And please forgive me if this has already been talked about, (Just finished Paramedic School and I haven't been on for a while)
I just recently found a Taurus PT-145 Pro SS at my local dealer. I am VERY interested in this gun. The only thing that I have heard about it is that the recoil is fairly "heavy".
Would someone comment on this, if able, and possibly give me a decent "skinny".

    Thanks
    Jeff

I found the recoil to be surprisingly lighter than I expected. Felt recoil is about the same as my Kimber.

I'll agree with Sisco. I find the recoil to be very manageable, comfortable even. Great gun, great value! I have about 1000 rounds through mine, 2 FTF's but the primer was punched hard, so I attribute them to the cheap ammo I was pushing through it. I would say pick it up, if it feels comfortable to you, get it. You'll enjoy it!

If your set on the .45 then im sure you will be happy with it. I have the pro in 9mm PT-111 to be exact. I love the 9mm the recoil is very managable with large hands and a good grip. I carry mine everyday!
    I carry because I care.

you should not have a problem with the recoil. seems mild IMHO.

Recoil is not bad at all.
