    I've got an itch

    I've got an itch for another pocket pistol...

    Narrowed down to Ruger LCR(in 357) or Sig p238

    Yep, I know there is a huge difference in caliber....but man is that Sig a beautiful piece

    Thoughts?

    Pocket .357s can be a handful (recoil-wise). You may be an experienced owner, but practicing with a small magnum would not be something I would want to do.

    A Sig P938 9mm is only slightly larger. I carry one as a pocket BUG.

    Sigs are heavy. I really enjoy my S&W model 60-14 21 oz SS 5 round .357 mag snub.
    38spl for the range, mostly.

    Its all personal pref.

    Besides, a 290RS is .5 of an oz lighter and the Colt Pocket Nine (if you can find one) is 6 ozs lighter with 7 rounds of 9mm.

    Pocket pistols are great primary carry in warm weather and a good back up in the cold weather.

    I have a light weight snub nose in 357. Good shooter, very accurate and painful. Go with the P238 and good luck.

    Agree. The 938 is the way to go for an almost ideal (for me) pocket pistol.
