    Baby's Back

A few people asked that I post when I finally got her in and I said I would so she's here my baby the LWT Colt XSE CDR. It's been a roller coaster ride with UPS and was never where she was supposed to be until today when they told me the sender needed to put a trace on it because they didn't know where she was. Well she turned up in the right place after being over a week late. I took a few quick pic's because I really like the hard chrome job Mahovsky's did. I will call and tell him so. he bead blasted everything first so it would all blend except for the sides of the slide I told him to leave shiney. To recap these are the parts I changed:

    Wilson Combat Beavertail
    Wilson Combat Tactical Thumb Safety
    Ed Brown Snakeskin bobtail msh
    Ed Brown GI Guide Rod
EGW Angle Bore Carry Bevel Thick Bushing
EGW Solid Thick Guide Rod Plug
    Greider Short Trigger

I did everything myself (I'm not bragging, just really happy) except the hard chrome of course and the alloy frame has nickle under the hard chrome. The toughness of the ramp just went way up. I now need to go in with a stone and smooth everything out again. Do you think it's a keeper?

I'd hate to think of anyone else sliding their jhp's into her and fondling her trigger.

Beautiful gun, I am happy you got her back. Only better place would havebeen if UPS would have brought it over to my house. You'd get it back, but I'd have to check to make sure everything was in proper working condition before I sent it back out.

I am really glad that you got her back. That would have been very bad to have lost that one. It is one fine looking firearm!!
