What to you think????? - Custom colors on your gun.
I found this site and was amazed by the colors of these weapons. I am just wondering if the color will last if I carry everyday and go to the range a lot. I sent an email to ask all that info.
So what do you guys think of this?
Would you do it to one of your weapons?
“Do you have any idea how hard it would be to live with yourself if your loved ones were attacked and killed, and you had to stand there helplessly because you were unprepared for that day?”

Not in a million years!
Would you do it to one of your weapons?
When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.

Maybe if I had one that needs refinished I would send it to them for a solid color... they seem fair priced. I like Ed stocks TRP.
The tiger strips seem ghetto fabulous to me, the snake skin ones would be cool if I was still into playing GI Joe in the back yard.
To each his own I guess.

I'm not really much on the reptilian look on firearms.

Long arms for hunting
I could see this on a rifle or shotgun used for hunting, as it would help in hiding the gun from the animal being hunted. I'm not sure it would be useful on a concealed carry handgun, as the gun and holster are already hidden under your clothing.

Seems to be one more thing a prosecutor could use to make you look like a Rambo character rather than a responsible, concerned citizen.
I'm not sure if I like what was done to the Kel-Tec P32, that was the best picture I saw but it was still ugly.

I would rather paint my gun the Pink and Green shown in http://www.combatcarry.com/vbulletin...2&postcount=25 than put one of those camo designs, the solid designs seem decent, on a carry pistol.
Neither one seems practical unless in the case of the pink and green one it is for a young girl shooting at the range.

Not For Me...
I couldn't do that to one of my 'custom' Kimbers...if someone does...it should be punishable by 'heavy fine and some years in the slammer'...

I almost hate to admit it, but I think that looks kind of cool. Especially since the holster matches the Glock and mags.

It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!
You cannot choose the conditions for a gunfight, so train in all conditions!

For a carry gun, just doesn't seem sensible if it already has a good finish. Their prices aren't that bad, but thats a lot of extra ammo you could buy instead.

IF I was strictly a combat tupperware guy, and IF I wanted a BBQ I would want one with stars and stripes. But since I'm a 1911 guy and carry a stainless steel 1911 it fits into the BBQ catagory.

I'm not a fan of the 'camo' finishes. I spend a lot of time outdoors & would worry that if I dropped the gun in leaves I'd never find it..........

I thought I might send off my G23, and get the pink treatment. It would have the perfect mix of concealment, and make the perfect accessory for my belt.

Friendship... is not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.

I could see myself getting one for a knife, but not on a firearm. Some of those DID look very effective though, namely the desert Marpat.
