I carry that G27 currently, but I just bought an SA XD from a buddy, and I have to say, I really like the feel of it. They're very similar, but the grip is a little more comfortable on the XD.

I carry a 23 every day in either a High Noon OWB, Fobus paddle or a Fobus IWB (which is suprisingly very comfortable for me). I also own a 17 which is my nightstand gun with a streamlight and 33rnd. mag.

Glock 22 when I'm working, Glock 27 when I'm not working.

well, I was gonna get a G23 for CC but right next to it they had a HK P2000 LEM on the Table for $110 more. Side by Side comfort comparison made me get the HK and i'm not sorry at all that I passed on the Glock.

MadDog61, how do you like the 39 (recoil, accuracy, etc.)? It's on my wishlist but have a very hard time finding anyone who has one to get a first hand opinion of it...

hate to say it but I'm carrying one now. Picked up a G26 a couple of weeks ago since it was slightly smaller than the XD. Even worse is I'm kinda starting to like this ugly thing....

Having grown up with steel and wood, it was difficult for me to embrace the plastic. My introduction to the Glock was rather abrupt, as an duty pistol. I have learned to appreciate the Glock as a tool, and currently own a few as personal weapons. I have a Glock 36 that I sometimes carry with complete confidence, and another that I compete with in IDPA. Although to me, the Glock is not the kind of weapon that inspires pride of ownership, I have grown quite comfortable with mine. They have earned their place in the safe, and carry rotation.

I carry a 30. Just picked up a 36 the other day. Haven't picked out a good holster for it yet.
