The 3rd gen. Taurus Mil Pro PT145 are nice guns. It's shorter than my old Glock 26, slightly thicker & heavier, but holds 11 rounds of .45 compared to 11 rounds of 9mm.

I wish it was 1.18" wide, then it would fit my Glock 36 holsters. In fact, then it would fit G 26, 19, 23, & 36 holsters. But it's nearly as wide as my old G 21.

Own a 2d generation 145. Great weapon 2500+ rounds through it with no issues. I use it as a summer CCW piece.

I own a PT145 3rd gen and it is great. I carry mine alot right now, since it getting hotter. It is easier to carry in lighter clothes than my 4" Kimber 1911. I can shoot as good with it as my Kimber, once I got use to the sights. I like it so much I made it a new home.

I just got rid of my PT-111 (9mm) because of how it sat in my hand. My grip had my thumb on the magazine release when I would shoot. Kept dropping the darn magazine out. With that one exception (for me), it is a great gun. Funny thing is, my Mom bought it for her nightstand when my Dad is away. I certainly trust the gun if I sold it to my Mom. Also, it takes +P rounds just fine. I know I felt comfortable with it in my kangaroo holster with 9mm +P Corbons. Good luck!
