    New carry weapon

Well as soon as I run it through it's paces and get a decent holster I'll start to carry it. I need to refinish my EDC so this is something to keep me safe in the interim.

Nice looking gun! I like the CZ's although I can't handle doublestacks well, but I still like them and their rifles too!

Let us know how it shoot! What is your EDC and can someone please tell me what EDC stands for?

I'm guess it refers to your primary carry weapon?

The RAMI doesn't fit my hand too well....strangely enough, my CZ-40B does.....that strange to me since the RAMI is essentially a chopped CZ-40B.

The pistol on the left has never won my heart but the one on the right sure has, Before anyone asks those are a matched set of griips by Hakan. Regards, Richard

    I've jealously eye'd some of Hakan's stocks on www.czshooters.com

How thin are they? Thinner than the OEM stocks?

Congrats! I've read very positive reviews on that gun. Looking forward to the range report.

I'm "hoping" to hit the range this weekend, though the "honey do" list is quite extensive. I'll be emailing Hakan soon, I have a set of his on another weapon and I love them. Range report will follow as soon as time allows.

Hakan's stocks are about the same size as the originals but look/feel a lot better. Regards, Richard

The thing about custom grips is that you can have them custom. Thinner, if you like, sure. I had that done by Sam @ Omega grips.

Click here for a range report I did back in October, which included the new Omega grips on a CZ P01 9mm.

They have resulted in a ~10% reduction in overall circumference (at the point of the palm swell and near the heel of the hand). Being a very hard wood, the Gabon ebony could easily be sliced even thinner. If I were to have them made, again, I would have about 25% of the material removed near the rear/heel of the hand, to make it even thinner. I've got small hands, so I am very sensitive to oversized, double-stack problems. Still, these are very nice grips.

It has been too cold for the range here in Kansas. Looks like a wet weekend too. I would sure fire that "puppy" up too if I had it. Steve48

I do not know Steve48, there was a group of us out at a range in Neosho County KS Saturday to do the qual's for the permit it was not cold --- Freezzing maybe. I think it was in the 40's when we shot but the wind chill was what was bad. Still we all qualified with 20/25 or better!

    I'm dying

I've got three brand new unfired guns and 2000 rounds. I'm supposed to shoot this weekend, and it doesn't look good. Mike Z
