Thunder Ranch 45 acp
OK all, as some of you may know, my Thunder Ranch .45 acp Revolver has been back at S&W for warranty repair. Also, while it was in MA I had the Hammer "Bobbed" and rendered D.A. only and an Action Job done.
I got it back today and took it to the range. After getting "dialed in" I shot a mock "Qual Course" from 25 Yards in to 3 Yards. This was the typical LE Qualification course with reloads and times. I was really "pushing" this gun to see if it would fail. Needless to say, it didn't fail and has become my bedside gun until I get proper leather for it.
When I had to qualify for real I never shot this good. I scored a perfect 250/250 and shot out the X, with time to spare. I then took the target to the gentleman that introduced me to handguns and taught me to shoot my first handgun. "That's deader than dead" was what he said. I of course thanked him for teaching me and gave him a hug.

Nice!
Sounds like you an the TR .45 are a match made in gun heaven.
Excellent work punching out the center of your target and posting a perfect score in the course of fire.
