    shooting the shield

cool, windy, and a light drizzle. I picked up the shield and my wife jumped up said "i'm first and grabbed her headphones, I hung the target and she walked out to the 15 yard stake, fired a mag, then walked to the 10 and fired another mag, she looks at the target and says " it's dead, i'm going in where it's warm

I loaded back up, marked her shots and walked out to my 20 yard obstacle, ran all 5 stations from 20 to 5 yards firing 3 shots per station at a semi-brisk pace. For such a small gun the Shield puts up one heck a performance when you do your part .

I ran the same course of fire this morning with my G19 with these results for 2 mags.

IMO the only thing the Shield gives up to the G19 is capacity and I think in its role as a deep concealment weapon it is one of, if not "The" best pistols on the market, dollar for dollar the G43 can't compare, of course as always YMMV

not even man! that's the first time she has shot that gun in 4 months. the 3 just above the head was from 15 yards and the first mag, she just gets better as she shoots too

Took a moment to stop laughing at the silhouette drawing you did, but I can look past that by noticing the nice little competition practice range you made. Whish I had that kind of property. By the way, Love my Shield too.

cardboard boxes and a sharpie are cheap, more money for ammo those are 4 gallon milk boxes and opened up are pretty close to torso sized, burn them when I'm done shooting them and swing by the grocery store and pick up a few more

My wife has a Shield. It is great little gun. I was really hoping she wouldn't like it, so I could buy her something else and keep it for myself. Turns out, she loves it. Her only complaint is the sights. She doesn't shoot well with three dot sights, so I think I will replace them with a set of XS Big Dots.

I love my Shield. In better conditions you can shoot a nice tight group at that distance.

Great choice of weapons. I love my Shield. When I'm not at work I carry my shield. I love it. It's my go to CC gun.

Gun control isn't about guns...it's about control. It also makes criminals out of otherwise law abiding citzens.
