    Century International Arms GP-100

Well today I came across a gently used 3" GP-100 that DAO and has C.I.A. stamped in the side frame. The hammer is spurless and even though there is about a 1/4" square patch on top of the hammer that is checkered, it will not cock single action. The gun has a pretty good trigger, tight cylinder endplay and has a few blemishes in the stainless finish. The front sight is pinned in and a little loose with a fixed rear sight......so what do you think and what have I got here???? Is this a special run or something????

I'll get some pictures out later this weekend.

    Yeppers,

That is what everyone else I have asked has said as well. I really like the gun, it is a step up from my 3" SP-101. I think this is gonna end up replacing the SP-101 as a carry weapon. I like the fact that it is .357mag as well. Here it is!!!

It's a real nice gun. I've always liked revolvers, especially Rugers.

I paid an even $300 and it came with a Safariland Police Holster that is actually in great shape, a worn out Safariland Speedloader and a ammo dump pouch. I am sure they can be found cheaper on places like gunbroker or other such places. I bought the last one my buddy had. He bought two of gunbroker and kept one for his wife and sold the other to me. I will ask him if he knows where there are others and/or if he plans to look for more. I really like the gun so far. I recently traded a 3" S&W 65-5, that was also a DAO gun. That left me with my 3" SP-101, and since I love Ruger revolvers, that was ok, but when I saw this gun, I realized I wanted it as a carry weapon.

^ I wish my dog would lay still and let me take pictures on her back.
I like my solvent and my lubricant for my guns to rhyme, so I use Gasoline and Vasoline.
