    Recent import of 3" Gp-100,s

    I have seen a flood of them for sale at the shows for $299. Nice wheelgun in 357 mag and shorter butt. C.A.I. imported thm back. A over seas contract for Ruger that came back home. A great CCW and housegun.

    Does any of you knows,on this 3" GP 100,is it posiple to take of original short grip and put on longer one from normal GP 100 ?
    This short one is to short and small for my hand,and revolver is great.

    Well it's been raining here in this part of Texas for about 5 days now, so getting to the range for a report will be a while. In the interim here are some pics of Marc's work at Gemini Customs. I am chompin' at the bit to get her to the range.

    He removed the billboard and C.A.I. from this side and polished the ends of the pins where they come through the frame and crane.


    I love the bead blast finish and notice how he rounded and polished the trigger


    Here is a picture of the hammer polished


    A view of the muzzle. The package includes recrowning for accuracy


    You can really see the trigger work here, and the DA pull is smooth as glass.

    I never kept track of the number of rounds that have gone through my GP100 over the years since I purchased it back in 1992, but it has never failed me and has always been the best performing handgun I've ever owned.
