I have a question about wooden grips...
My .38 snubby is my IWB CC piece and I fight with the grip screw all the time trying to keep it from rusting from the salt/sweat of my skin. What would that do to wood grips? Warp them?

I suggest a brass or stainless screw , get one at a hardware store
and trim to length if necessary.
If you don't constantly remove your grips - just put some clear
nail polish on the threads and snug it up.
All wood contains moisture , and may eventually change shape
slightly , just make sure whatever finish is on the grips remains intact.

Very nice gun
Somebody did a lot of work on that gun, machining it to take moon clips, bobbing the hammer and apparently smoothing the trigger pull. It may be close to the perfect .357 magnum 5 shot snubby, with enough weight from the all steel construction to handle the recoil, but small enough for easy concealment.
With the hammer bobbed, it appears to be functionally similar to the S&W model 640, the 5 shot, all steel internal hammer revolver.

Nice gun! & judging by the new J.R. Cigar catelog next to the gun, you're a fellow cigar smoker?
